Your report may go public

Reports may be forwarded to the Phenomena YouTube channel for public release. That can include your alias, your written account, your photos, your voice and your video. If you do not want to expose yourself, take these steps.

  • Use an aliasYour alias is the name the public sees. Avoid anything you use elsewhere.
  • Film in the darkYour face can be recognised on video. Turn the lights off, or record voice only.
  • Leave out identifying detailsYour voice can still be heard. Do not say your name, address or workplace.

Your real name is hidden from the public. Only the Phenomena review team can see it.
